You can upload an image to a stock item directly in the mobile client. Simply search for the stock item in the Warehouse module.
Press the pen
Choose Photos.
Press the three dots and 'Add Photo'
Choose an existing photo from your gallery or take a photo with the camera.
Press Done and the photo will be saved to this Stock Item.
